JavaScript Errors on Browser
JavaScript is an ESMCScript language that is implemented in many web browsers as well as on many websites. This script was designed to allow users an enhanced interface with dynamic websites and allows users to view certain types of files that could not have otherwise been seen.
Common Symptoms
Anyone who is a frequent web surfer has no doubt encountered a JavaScript error or two. When these errors occur, you are alerted with a pop up type message. That message will give you details of the problem and keep you from completing what you are trying to get done online.
Possible Causes
There are two main causes for JavaScript Errors:
- Runtime Error: This occurs when JavaScript is unable to find a certain object and complete its task. In other words, it can’t complete its instructions.
- Syntax Error: This occurs when there is a missing piece of code or a piece of code that has been written incorrectly. Typos and misspellings are often the culprits in this situation.
Suggested Solution
There are ways you can manually fix what is going wrong, but this type of fix takes a lot of time, patience, and a bit of computer knowledge. Additionally, you can also try and update to the latest version of Internet Explorer and see if that fixes the problem. If all else fails, you can always use a program that will seek out the bad .dll files within the script and fix them if need be. These programs will scan your computer for free and pinpoint your JavaScript problem for you saving you a lot of time and headaches.
